Who is responsible
This website is run by the team behind Malta Social and the MeetNow app. For any privacy question or request, write to contact@maltasocial.com.
What we collect
- Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find us. With Google Consent Mode, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals without identifiers. Analytics data includes pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and referring site. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser and time of request, for security and to keep the site running. These are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.
We do not run user accounts, comments, newsletters or advertising on this site, and we do not sell personal data.
Cookies
- Consent preference: remembers your choice in the cookie banner.
- _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics, only after consent): distinguish visits, kept for up to 2 years.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser; the banner will appear again.

Our articles link to venues, official websites and our own app, MeetNow. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Write to contact@maltasocial.com. You can also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt) or the data protection authority where you live.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
